Fountain Square Jewelry Making Experience:
Fused Glass Pendant--A Sampler
This class combines jewelry making with an opportunity to experience
Fountain Square. The class will start in the morning and then break
for a very long lunch so you can check out one of Fountain Square’s
many fine dining establishment and then browse through some of our
wonderful shops. Then after break, you will return to complete your
jewelry pieces.
This month the jewelry class featured is : Fused Glass Pendant—A
Sampler. In this class we will provide a brief overview
of glass fusing and then the fun begins. No glass cutting is needed
as we experiment with frit, stringers, and dichroic glass to create
unique designs. Before the lunch break you will assemble at least
two pendants. Then during your two-hour break we will remain in
the studio and slave over the hot kiln to fire your creations while
you dine, browse and shop. When you return, we will be ready to
finish up your pieces and attach pendant findings so you will be
able to take completed jewelry pieces.
